Since its inception, the goal with Evolutionary Publishing has been to offer a selection of titles designed to appeal to a broad spectrum of readers.

The submissions we accept are not always the standard fare of most online publishing houses. Our books are diverse in style, genre, and appeal. From the start my personal motto was to take my time and build the catalogue slowly and steadily.

I have opted out for quality verses quantity. This allows both us and the author to work toward a quality output, rather than imposing tight deadlines that result in publishing substandard work. It also allows me to get to know my authors, and work closely with them in an attempt to form a true partnership.

I love books that force me to forget I am editing, because I can’t wait to see what happens next. That happened when I read Dues of Justice, by Jack Adler, The Tales Of A House God, by Cathy Dee and Dead Market by Gary Starta. Throw in Estrealla Azul by Colleen Love and A Whisper of Humanity by Denyse Bridger and you have a great start to a diverse library, ranging from paranormal to comedy and just about everything in between. It is my hope that I will continue to have the opportunity to introduce readers to talents they might not have otherwise met, and to deliver books which I am proud to have with my publishing house.

As a child, I absolutely adored books. I still do. And, if I am going to be honest, there is something about a good children’s book that still can magically transport me back to the days of my youth. It was from this mindset that LadyBee Publishing was born. I would love it if every child could sit down with a book that makes them feel good, makes them think, transports them to another time, place or world.

As with Evolutionary Publishing, we have taken the slow and steady approach, slowly building the catalogue. We work with the authors one on one to  achieve the best possible end result.

It has been my pleasure to introduce a number of amazing talents. Koos Verkaik and his Alex and the Wolpertinger series, have not only been finalists in the Epic Awards but those books are potentially going to be the hottest collection of books for any and every child. His Saladin the Wonder Horse series is simply outstanding. I love that he made a young girl the real heroine of the story, along with Saladin.

Terry Coffey’s Camille Miles- Private Eye, is so cleverly written, and sure to get you and your child thinking.  Cynthia MacGregor’s-What Will Happen If I Tell?, deals with all sorts of issues, from bullying, to abuse and how best to deal with it. Short stories that teach little life lessons, for children, to longer stories like Baymo by Seth Kadish, for middle grade children, and young adult stories like The Darkling by J.R. Kennedy, shows the diversity of what we offer.

Most recently, we launched a ‘Call For The Wild’ series. The début title, Elephant Symphony by award-winning author Nikki Noffsinger, has recently been released. These books, by a variety of authors, are intended to introduce endangered animals, and to let people know what they can do to make a difference.

I truly believe that books always have and always will be a positive influence in a young person’s life. As we continue to showcase some of the most talented authors around,  LadyBee  hopes to become a trusted and key component in that positive influence.
